Orthopedic Surgery Expert

Dr. David Vier, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon with 11 years of experience in his field. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Baylor University Medical Center/Baylor University in 2020, followed by specialized training in foot and ankle surgery at the OrthoCarolina Foot & Ankle Institute in 2021.

His areas of special interest include bunions and hammertoes, sports injuries, minimally invasive surgery (MIS), lower extremity trauma, total ankle replacements, complex foot and ankle deformity reconstruction, and limb salvage.
